TORN VEIL / CONTROL // CABLE 010

FROM: CONTROL / JB TO: ALL PARTICIPANTS DTG: 261915Z OCT 2025 CLASS: UNCLAS // TRAINING (FICTIONAL) SUBJECT: FIELD WRAP // YOU JUST DID THAT

1️⃣ SITUATION

The inaugural Torn Veil civilian event is complete. You are the plank holders of Torn Veil. You stood up something that did not exist before you arrived. A field immersion experience unlike anything else in the country. You worked live objectives under pressure, with moving targets and tight timelines. What happened out there would sound insane to anyone who wasn’t there.

You cracked a storage unit and lifted data, planted a bug inside a Masonic lodge, tagged a vehicle public, ran an elicitation at a blackjack table, pulled long-lens surveillance in public space, played "Dukes of Hazzard" blowing traffic laws both losing and tailing a target through traffic, created diversions and slipped a tracker into a shoulder bag in a crowd. Every one of you moved like a professional.

2️⃣ ANALYSIS

What you felt was the point. The pulse of being inside a dynamic, emerging crisis situation, where judgment, calm and pinch of hooliganism matter more than plan or rank. You operated through uncertainty and found the line between pressure and panic. That’s the space this program was built for.

Behind you was a real team. Surveillance operators who run details for national leadership. Green Berets with SMU and CIA background. Combat veterans. Senior officials and business leaders who live these problems every day.

The people who normally protect the Republic built this for you. These are Operators who have worked at the highest levels of national security, men and women forged through combat, surveillance, and years of operational training. Veterans who have spent careers inside the machinery that protects this country. Senior officials and professionals who understand what it takes to keep the light from going out.

These are the quiet professionals the public never meets. They are the ones who keep watch, who rarely speak about what they have seen. For a weekend, that curtain opened. You stood inside a world that few civilians ever glimpse. The knowledge behind this experience was not improvised; it was built from decades of instruction, discipline, and sacrifice. The combined cost of that training replicated across every role you saw, would reach into tens of millions of dollars. You were allowed to touch it for forty-eight hours. That is the measure of what was invested in you.

3️⃣ FRAME FOR THE OUTSIDE WORLD

When people ask, keep it clean:
“Say it straight. It was a leadership and awareness program built on combat and intelligence tradecraft. You were dropped into live operations that forced fast judgment and calm under pressure. It felt real because the people behind it come from the world where it is real.”

Think about it like this;
What if a group of civilians could walk, for one weekend, into the real operating world, the place between intelligence, combat, and high finance, without the badge or the war?

That’s Torn Veil.

It’s a field-immersion system. Think of it as a living film: multiple city locations, trained role players, real surveillance teams, timed communications, and an unfolding narrative that tests awareness and leadership under pressure. No run will ever be the same.

The people behind it aren’t actors. They’re the quiet professionals who’ve built and run protective, investigative, and crisis-management programs for national leaders and Fortune-100 clients. Decades of real tradecraft, compressed into a two-day experience that feels like a thriller and teaches like a command course. We spent a weekend working surveillance lanes across the city. Real assets, real timing. You’d be surprised what you can do when you’re being watched.

4️⃣ NEXT STEPS

All field imagery and comms are being compiled into the official Torn Veil backbrief. A refined visual release will follow once it meets standard. What is shown will reveal just enough to remind you what it felt like to be inside the system without exposing how it works.

5️⃣ REMARKS

Larry assembled a group of pioneers and it paid off. You walked through a one-of-a-kind operation and made it look easy. The concept works and it belongs in the top tier of boutique leadership programs. You now own the story of what it felt like to run a mission instead of just hearing about one.

CONTROL appreciates every hour of effort, focus, and humor. Rest, reset, and carry it forward. The Republic still needs people who can see in the dark. You saw a glimpse of the discipline and darkness that protect the Republic. The men who build this work do it so others never have to. You were allowed inside for a reason: to see what vigilance costs. Remember that when life gets comfortable again.

When something like this is done right, you don’t talk about it.
You finish the job, pack your kit, and let the night take it.
What happened out there stays between the people who carried it.
You close the file and move on.
